Mother’s Day Gift Guide

There is no greater love than that between a daughter and mother.  It is a special and unique relationship of unconditional mutual love.  The older I get the more I truly value the relationship with my mother: the fun times, tough love, annoying habits, holiday traditions, emotional support, etc.  Good or bad, she helped shape me into the woman I am today, so Mother’s Day serves as a way to celebrate her.  We typically keep Mother’s Day simple over here, but this year I am seriously considering getting my mom an experience gift, like this cooking class .  I have rounded up a few of my finalist for fun gifts for mom/ MIL/ Gma.

Summer Shoe Round Up

I am certainly feeling the itch to bust out the summer wardrobe and maybe add a few new pieces as well.  As I continue to mature in my fashion style, I continue to find myself drawn to neutral pieces, that still have interest and texture.  Pretty much mirror my home style. 🙂  Check out my shopping cart below…

Block Heels , Black Flats @ $48 , White Flats , Wedges

Fiesta like there’s no Mañana!

I am so excited for next week’s celebration: Cinco de Drinko  Cinco de Mayo!  I have some plans here including a taco bar, margarita bar including this skinny girl margarita recipe, cactus and loads of guac.  I rounded up a few of my favorites for a little inspiration for your fiesta.

Mexican Blankets , Party Balloons , Guac Tee , Margarita Glasses

Showering #babyharrington

My best friend Emily will be welcoming her first baby in a few short weeks, so I was beyond thrilled to help host her shower.  There is nothing better than seeing tiny baby dresses and your soul sister so happy! We had tears, laughs and many mimosas (mock for her).
